WINTER FIRE FESTIVAL

Thank You for Joining Us at the Winter Fire Festival!

What a night it was! Our Winter Fire Festival was everything we hoped it would be — a glowing celebration of warmth, creativity, and community in the heart of winter.

Thank you to everyone who braved the cold to join us! From flickering lanterns to fire dancers, from comfort food and cocktails to workshops and live music — the evening came alive because you showed up with open hearts and festive spirit.

The farm was buzzing with laughter, glowing faces, and shared moments around the fire. Whether you came to wander the stalls, craft something by hand, or simply soak up the winter magic, we are so grateful to have shared it with you.

To our talented performers, passionate stallholders, and every team member behind the scenes — thank you for helping bring the magic to life.

We hope you left a little warmer, a little inspired, and already looking forward to what’s next.

SAVE THE DATE FOR OUR NEXT FESTIVAL:

Workshops

Candle Making with Intent

Step into a cosy, creative space where you will pour your very own candle from natural wax, guided by a local artisan. In this hands-on workshop, you will choose from a range of warm, inviting scents – to craft a candle that is uniquely yours. This is a chance to slow down, connect, and take home something beautiful and meaningful.

Glass Lantern Workshop

Add your own spark to the night in this cosy, creative session where you’ll decorate your very own lantern to carry during our evening Lantern Walk. We’ll provide everything you need — from materials to guidance — so you can slow down, get creative, and prepare for the soft glow and magic of the night ahead.

Traditional African Drumming

Feel the rhythm of the earth beneath your feet as you join our African drumming circle. This interactive workshop invites all ages to connect through sound, energy, and movement. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned drummer, come and learn the basics of traditional African beats and let your hands follow the pulse of the drum. No experience needed!

Sip & Paint

Let your creativity flicker in this cosy, fire-inspired painting session with local artist Carinda Appelgryn. Explore warm tones like amber, rust and gold as you paint glowing scenes of flames and lanterns. No experience needed — just come ready to unwind, sip on sherry or glühwein, and enjoy a relaxed evening of art and connection. All materials provided.

Traditional Fire Making

Step back in time and learn the art of making fire the old-fashioned way — no matches, no firelighters, just skill, patience, and a few natural tools. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll discover ancient techniques used to spark a flame using friction and other traditional methods. It’s all about slowing down and reconnecting with nature in a unique way.

Crochet Workshop

Join us for a cosy and creative 2-hour crochet session where you’ll learn to make either a Beanie (perfect for beginners) or Fingerless Mittens (for those who already know the basic stitches).

Whether you’re picking up a hook for the first time or building on your skills, this class is a great way to expand your handmade wardrobe.
