Our facilities will be closed on 25 December 2024 and 1 January 2025. If you book your accommodation and it falls over these dates , breakfast will not be available to you. Please have a look at our specials page for discounted rates for longer stays between 24 December 2024 to 2 January 2025.
Our festive season trading hours will be available in October for those that like to plan ahead.

  • Check in is from 14h00. Early check-in (from 7am) permitted, but needs to be requested in advance (subject to availability) and will be charged at an additional 50% of the normal rate.
  • Children: Extra mattresses and camping cots for children can be arranged at an additional cost and are subject to availability. Note: some units are not suited to accommodate children. (Mattresses are for children under 18 only. Adults need to book own rooms.)
  • Please note: We do not provide transport on the farm. Using Uber is discouraged, as accommodation units are not all within walking distance of the main facilities. Having your own vehicle will ensure you can fully enjoy your stay.
  • Our accommodation units offer a peaceful retreat from modern distractions, so we do not have televisions in the rooms. We encourage guests to enjoy the tranquility of our natural beauty.

The fig and biltong pizza is a must try! Having a takeaway option allowed us to continue to relax and enjoy our accommodation. We went on a trail walk in the morning which was so refreshing. "We’ve just spent a glorious weekend at The Farmhouse, Rosemary Hill (celebrating our darling daughter's 50th birthday). It is safe to say that this is easily the nicest, most luxurious, best maintained holiday accommodation in the area. The staff are competent, helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean, neat, well laid out and serviced daily. And the extras! Firewood, coffee, tea, biscuits, library, toiletries, even mozzie repellent! And to top it all: breakfast is included in the price. And not just your common or garden variety eggs, bacon and toast. Top of the line goodies to make your eyes water! I can go on for hours, but what can I say? Maybe just a line from old Arnold Schwarzenegger’s The Terminator: “I'll be back!”

"We recently booked the Big Pod for 2 nights. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and three kids, aged 14, 10 and 8. The unit is perfect for a few days stay. The dining experience was one of our best. The breakfast options were delicious and the dinner menu was beyond our expectations. Really wholesome and delicious meals. Well priced considering the portion sizes and quality of food. During winter the fireplaces really set the ambulance. Our kids spent most of the time there on their bikes. Really recommend taking your bicycles along. There is a toddler course, a 5km, 10km and 33km course. Along the same course is a hike that is not too challenging. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well-appointed for small units. The natural surroundings were beautiful and we always felt safe. We would highly recommend a visit. In our experience the off seasons are probably the best time to visit."
